Turquoise blue lakes, hot springs and wild ravines: Banff National Park in the Canadian province of Alberta is a tourist magnet. Every year, around five million people visit the park that was founded in 1885.
The park covers about 6600 square kilometers. Banff National Park Canada is part of the Rocky Mountain UNESCO World Heritage Site. Banff is one of currently 42 national parks here in Canada.
