Ever heard of the stunning ruins of Machu Pichu in Peru?

The Peruvian government recently limited the number of hikers on the Inca Trail to 500 per day. Reason is to protect the ancient hiking trail.

In addition tour operators are required to submit name and passport numbers of their customers to purchase the necessary permits.

For this reason it has become extremely difficult to book last minute.
